Copterx is really good quality. Equals even align. All parts fits perfectly heli flies very steady. None of the parts need upgrades. Especially in combination with the kbar this heli gives you all the pleasure you want flying 3d. Only minor thing might be the ugly canopy. Look at the kbar settings setup and maiden. This kit is 25X better than the HK250 kit. Part tolerances are very, very good. Tight swash with no play, unlike the HK version. Tail unit includes weighted grips (hk did not) and has far less play than the HK (even the align tail has play). Fiberglass Canopy is included where HK has a plastic canopy. As a Heli i'm gonna overpower it and make a 3d trainer out of this one. Second was the quality: the linkages do not show any sloppyness, the canopy is really sturdy (made from fiberreinforced material),Only delivery was very slow (31days after shipment).Buy with confidence.Nicely packed and everything in the box is complete including the CD.Other than that everything is great.Great job Banggood. Of course the electronics really add up to a lot of money, but are mainly reusable if you crash, so if you are on a budget, but want to do 3D, this is a reasonable choice to learn on, unless you want to spend up on the Align original. My motor didnt fit as the shaft was too long, so be careful when you buy a motor, as the servos are just above the main gear. Bearing in tail are worst and main block. In case the replaced bearing not be able to solve my problem i will change belt power tail to brush-less motor so vibration issue can be resolved.http://doggystylzgrooming.com/admin/photos/ca-idms-manuals.xml

1.0.

Rest Uma bosta ter que pagar pelo pretrolao. Mesmo assim ainda compensou. Espero nao ser taxado quando encomendar a eletronica. I can't wait to get the rest of the parts to see this bird fly. I recommend 100%. Ich habe alle Schrauben gegen Align ausgetauscht There are some problems on the shaft bearing because when spinning the shaft bends. The screws are torx type, not my favourite but. Better to give it a good check and give the screws a bit of threadlock. Quality could be better in terms of the screws used. Some of them have spots of corrosion and their heads are not ok. Good thing is that the screws mostly have torque, however I replayed quite a few of them. I would prefer that in the pre assembly no bolt adhesive would be used at all. Some screws are secured, other not, there is always the risk that a well secured screw is hard to get of even if that was not necessary. Since I found totally none secured screws, I have to take it all apart anyway and rebuild it to be on the safe side. The main shaft arrived with a slight bent - so right away an extra expense in cash and time to havre to replace it. The feather shaft is made of very soft metal. You don't have to crash to bend it. A rough touchdown on concrete (too sudden negative pitch to sit it down for example) will bent the feather shaft. Okay, my fault for the rough touchdown but I own Align and CopterX 250 helis and the feather shaft on those helis don't bend with such a small force. All the frame screws should be removed and installed with locktite as they will vibrate loose if left in stock condition. Tail has extreme slop as already mentioned by others. But if you want to tinker more than fly a crispy machine then this is for you.Terminacion de Primera. La nica critica con las palas. Las mismas deben ser remplazadas por unas de fibra las que trae son de un plstico muy ordinario.Esperare hasta que me lleguen las de fibra.

The second one was to be the crash kit. During the build, stripped out screw heads and broke off one screw in the tail boom holder. I ordered Align parts to replace that. The aluminum boom is very soft and gets damaged at the boom bolder when you tighten down the screws it already causes metal fatigue. With time and rough landings, you will notice the boom vibrate more and more. In hindsight, I would have built fromt the start with a CF boom because during flight the boom suddenly snap at the boom holder. Price is good value but you have to spend more (get quality hardware) to make this airworthy. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THREAD LOCKER ON EVERY SINGLE SCREW THAT GOES INTO METAL!! I've had two accidents that could have rooted from this problem, one in the main head, and one in the tail rotor. The parts are relatively cheap to replace, but just to save the time and money. Overall, some of the parts are fragile, and this is definitely not the heli, for a first time pilot, but its a great entry-level helicopter for somebody who's flown fixed pitch or coaxial. Put a fbl head on it and a beastx that im not happy with so i am swapping for a gpro.Everything fits true and straight. I only have two complaints. 1 The canopy is very poor quality, and was cracked when i received it. 2 The tail slider is larger than the tail shaft, so it has quite a bit of slop in it. Other than that, everything is good quality. The parts used are: Assault 250 3800kv motor 15t pinion. HK15178B 13g servos GA250 Gyro Zippy Compact 850mah 3S batteries 30A ESC The gear that connects with the main gear was not perpendicular to the shaft and i had to 'adjust' it with pliers. I replaced it with the Align just to be safe since HK did not have them in stock at the time. 2. The whole head has too much play. This is caused by the swashplate being too loose, the seesaw, and the ball links. I tried tightening them but the tolerances on these parts are too much so i had them replaced with the Align originals.

This made the heli to respond and fly much better. 3.There are two problems with the tail. Again there is a problem with the parts tolerances and the tail blades feel loose. Also the tail pitch control links are too short and you cannot get enough angle on the blades when moving away from the heli. Combine the short links with the poor tolerances and you get very little control of the tail. Again i replaced the tail pitch assembly and the tail rotor control arm with the Align originals. Please log in or register to start helping your fellow hobbyists today! The parameters in the manual seem I'm setting up a flybarless T500 and was wondering about the 3 swash servos. in I am supposed to select one of six choices. All Servos are 1520 AnalogTail is 1520 Digital, Collective servos are I'm using it on my trex 450 pro and running a headspeed of around 3200.My When I power up the zyx controller the two front servos (aileron When I look at it I still see turnigy. Then again they did come out with some nice Nano-Tech batteries. I'm using training gear to prevent tip overs during the setup and first few flights. I had a really good experience with this gyro. Flies just as good as my AR7200BX. I was wanting to order more Use your own discretion for these I'm trying to install a Tarot zyx on a Trex 250 with JR transmitter and R70 receiver. After hooking The tail has some slow wag as wellas rapid wag. But the 250 is notoriously bad on tail wag so I'll Time to upgrade I have an old version helicommand Rigid. I am reading on the New Having trouble getting everything to bind. Any help Im using a gotek 9257 tail servo. The settings are currently on hardcore with the tail dead band at 40 and the gyro dead I have just built a tarot 450 pro fbl kit and installed a zyx-s gyro. When I say just built, this has actually been going on for a few. Something went wrong. View cart for details. All Rights Reserved. Has anyone done the conversion and if so, can you tell me what ancillary parts I need beside the head and controller. I already have digital servos for cyclic and tail.

Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk The DFC head is much better. I am running all CopterX stock with that. Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk The only thing I'd suggest modifying is moving the servo balls in one hole on the arms, you will probably have to use shorter ball links to avoid the arms from hitting the servo body, I used 2 from the swash, as the DFC head only needs 2 of the 4 swash balls. Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk If you don't have a blade balancer try using a toothpick like so: If the blades are too loose on the toothpick and don't stay straight put 1 layer of tape around it and they should be tight enough to stay out. I went and picked up a 2mm machine screw and a couple nuts and pretty much did the same thing. I have the blades balanced nicely. Think I will take the blades off and spool up the head with only the flybar and see if that is the issue. I don't believe anything is loose in the head. I checked it over. The FBL conversion is sounding better and better to me. Just need to sell my Quart for the cast. I've had clones arrive with bent main shafts quite often. I've had clones arrive with bent main shafts quite often. I pulled it all apart and the shaft looks good. I did get it to spool up a couple times and it looked good but either spooling down or when I went to spool up again, it would get the shakes. Shaft seems to fit snug in the blocks. The Jesus bolf was causing binding. Now the shaft if level with the bottom of the pulley and it works MUCH better. Still get a little vibration at low speed (about 10%) but smooths right out as soon as I give it more throttle. No one biting on my Quark sale so I will probably fly flybar for a bit and then lower the price in the Quark since it will be used and maybe try FBL down the road. Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk I have a programming box on the way for it assuming that is the way I am going to go. Also have my eye on a 450 class heli that has already been converted to FBL.

I can't imagine anything being better, though. If I were to go with an fbl head for the 250, it would definitely be the Align DFC, as well as their DFC swashplate. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD I can't imagine anything being better, though. If I were to go with an fbl head for the 250, it would definitely be the Align DFC, as well as their DFC swashplate. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD The nice thing about the dfc head is it lowers the head giving the heli a tighter feel, and faster cyclic. Took it apart and changed the belt, tail shaft, main shaft, and balanced the head and blades(all align parts) and now its very stable. So far no wag!! In short, I needs help choosing a heli. The holy grail would be from 250 to 450 6ch Complete package or kit with a receiver 6 or 8 channel Easy to program gyro RTF, BNF. ARF or at least a assembled frame and rotor head. Did I leave anything out.Reason: spacebar Given your requirements, I'd get the Blade 300 CFX BNF Basic. I'm more of a scale fan, which would be the Apache, but the direct drive tail puts us both off that. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.Never had one but always used to hear good things about them (CopterX) The Walkera V450D03 had a really good price but is sold out. Master CP also good price, it's a direct-dive and brushed but supposedly pretty decent. I have heard it recommended that going from 450 up to 500 makes a huge difference in how hard the thing is to work on.

Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.Once again thanks MWM and Robocog for your input. I will program your input to my 8s iif I ever figure out how I'm looking at copterX on the recommended site and the deals are awesome. I too get the feeling that Quads are ruling the day but flying something like a heli that should not fly by the laws of god and physics is a challenge. I've pretty much narrowed it down to a Trex or Copter X in the 450 size. I have a huge soccer field nearby and a couple acres of sand to lose one in so off I (we) go. If not, I'd really suggest getting a micro like the Walkera Super CP, micros can generally take a lickin' and keep on kickin'. With a large heli, you can virtually guarantee each crash will result in something else needing replacing. So I recommend learning the ropes on a micro then going big; the micro CPs can actually handle a decent bit of wind too. I wish they had the micros and cheap programmable TXs when I was learning CP, or even the 450 clones. I started a little bit before the clone glut. I bought a slipper clutch it sits on the repair bench because the parts are just to tiny for my clumsy fingers. I'm not reticent to try a 450 size. The learning curve is expected and parts replacement is affordable. It appears I'll be going with a Trex clone so recommendations are welcome ( don't want to afford the huge price tag Trex brings I'd rather side my house. I looked at CopterX but they seem to have huge quality issues(?) Another green newb question: Most of the ARF kits do not mention which receiver to install. Am I confused about the nomenclature. If not Please recommend a receiver that's compatible with a deviated 8s without TX mods. I'm still looking at Gartt 450s' but again which receiver. Also I'm reading that a heli with a flybar is easier to program than a FBL model. I hope I'm not frustrating the kind folks who are helping me along, I'm from Tennessee by way of Missouri and come from a long line of mules.

More stable.maybe? Can get FC's with rescue modes if pockets are deep enough Flybarred, lots of moving parts that will get sloppy with time.DSM2 is older, less reliable and of questionable legality in some areas. Spektrum owns the protocol and charges for a license for protocol info. OrangeRx, LemonRx and deviation are unlicensed versions of it, and they have all gotten better in the last year or two. But some oddities in the protocol sometimes cause the unlicensed versions to work better when using DSM2 even if both ends support DSMx. Also, the only testing of the unlicensed products with each other is by the deviation team in the nightly builds. OrangeRx telemetry works on deviation, but they don't have Rx battery telemetry. The older versions have been widely reported as having reliability and QC issues. QC had been much better after the first generation of them, and reliability has improved every generation. If you're going with FBL, you'll either need a flight controller or an Rx that does the FBL mixing. I'm not sure that OrangeRx makes the latter. If your getting a flight controller, check to see if it can do either SBUS or (C)PPM, and if so get an Rx that does that to simplify the build. If it does both, go with SBUS. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.The consensus appears to be installing a Orangerx receiver. I've been looking on the EHirobo site but they have gotten some negative reviews on shipping and customer service as well as large shipping costs.I do know I'll want a US.Also has anyone purchased from KY-model.com. Regards Rob I have noticed that the electronics packages included in the CopterX helis seem to be the same. Is there a significant difference. Regarding the lemon rx v2 is that recommended or is there a Walkera rx that would be a better choice. Ehirobo is the place to go almost all the sellers appear to be clones of them and the positive review from the forum soothed my trepiidation. They currently have this package on sale.
