I put up with it for a few years and then, instead of throwing it a way, I disassembled it and found the hydraulic oil and internal parts very dirty and contaminated with casting sand. I cleaned everything and reassembled with the existing o-rings. Coat the flat, plastic rings at the top and bottom of the barrel with RTV Gasket Eliminator. It does not leak now and it does work well.Tried bleeding per instructions and had to call the 888 number and was given entirely different bleeding instructions. No matter nothing worked. I’d shop elsewhere. I wish the seller would return my emails for a return.Only complaint would be lowering it is extremely finicky. I'm used to jacks so I know to have a slight touch when you go to lower it. But you really need to be careful with this one, it drops fast.The weld seams on the jack stands are solid and I have no complaints. The jack however works perfect, but you will definitely need to get jack hydraulic fluid to top it off for this to work as expected. For that reason alone I give it 4 stars, but if it came out of the box ready to go without any issues I would give it five stars for product and value.I have been using this for the last year and a half. This has sufficient range for everything I've need so far, even for installing a 4 inch lift. The jack and jack stands work as they should. My only complaint is the casters on the creeper are sub par and get loose over time. The floor needs to be spotless or the casters can get stuck on even just a little dirt on the floor. However, I don't blame the seller for this, as damn - this thing weighs 73 lbs and the box is actually pretty thick cardboard. Anyway, opened the box. Put the jack stands together and the creeper together. Everything looked very beautiful and quality. Then it came to purging air from the jack. Followed all the air purge instructions, went to turn the handle clockwise to close the release valve and it felt like the handle would not turn the same amount clockwise as it did counterclockwise to open the release valve. Well, the jack would not lift. Checked the hydraulic fluid level, assuming the jack was shipped without fluid. Sure enough it looked empty. Went and added some hydraulic fluid, re-performed the air purge procedure. Not sure what the dealio is, but the jack still will not lift. It's a useless 73lb steel paper weight. Tried to contact the seller through amazon and never heard from them. Very inconvenient - needed to do car work. At least I have a creeper? blah.They do what theyre supposed to. The jack is heavy and solid. Lifted my truck just fine. The issue i ran into is that you can not lower the jack unless the handle is completely virticle. If the handle isnt straight up the gears do not line up and you cant lower it. Kind of useless and a very big design flaw. Its also very very sensitive. The smallest twist drops it very quickly. Each jack will have a design range, in particular, a minimum and a maximum height.

Step 1 Locate the round fill plug with Phillips-type slots in the top located just forward of the jack handle pivot point and centered side to side. Clean carefully around the plug area to prevent getting dirt into the reservoir when removing the fill plug. Step 2 Lower the jack completely and use a large Phillips screwdriver to remove the fill plug. Add hydraulic jack oil to bring the oil level to the bottom of the fill hole and replace the plug. Open the floor jack release valve by turning the jack handle counter-clockwise. Move the jack handle up and down sharply several times to purge any air that may have gotten into the system. Tips Most jacks will have the fill plug located on the cylinder that contains the hydraulic ram. Other possible plug styles include plugs with a hex head or plugs with a hex or a square hole in the top. Remove these types with a. a hex socket, an Allen wrench, or the square end of a ratchet wrench extension bar respectively. Use an old toothbrush or the equivalent and some common spray solvent such as thin lubricant or penetrating oil to clean the area around the fill plug. Use a small funnel to minimize oil spillage and put some old newspapers under the jack when you are working since some oil may get spilled. Warnings Hydraulic jack oil is available at auto parts stores. The Craftsman hydraulic jack manual strongly cautions to use only hydraulic jack oil and not to use other type fluids such as power steering fluid or motor oil. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a hydraulic jack. Sometimes hydraulic jacks have slow leaks that cause them to gradually lower under load.
