Haven't got that to work yet but the AirPrint was effortless to get to work. All of our Apple devices find and use it well. My wife's TouchSmart PC uses it as its default printer. If you aren't going to use the printer much, there is a Sleep setting that can be activated so it will Sleep after 2 hours of non use. Save the world? The scanner is a flatbed, no feed, but the software will do a multi-document scan into a single PDF file, if desired. I don't think that just because you turn the thing off it should do that every time, but it does. I tried to figure out how to stop it from doing that, but that took too long, so I just don't turn it off and leave it in standby mode and that seems to have gotten around the problem. Overall, the printer is fine. It prints, it does what it's supposed to do. You can even print 2 sided pages. But things seems to take a while with this one. It sometimes will stop working if you don't have enough paper in it, which is weird as my last printer could pick up every last page. It also jams easily, but is easy to fix. The nice part about the individual cartridges is that the user can replace the black cartridge without throwing away good color ink, but even my old printer had a separate cartridge for black and one for color. Also on the plus side, the printer came with a USB cable to connect to your computer, or you can use it as a wireless printer.

It has Bluetooth capability, so you can also print directly from your smartphone. The unit also comes with one full set of ink cartridges, is Energy Star compliant, and has an automatic low power mode if you forget to turn it off. Unfortunately, I didn't find out until after I got the printer out of the box and set up that it will only scan one page at a time and turn each page into a separate PDF file. This means the user can't scan multiple pages into a single document. These were major drawbacks for my desired usage of the scanner, and I wish it had either been disclosed on the outside of the box or by the rep who explained the features of the unit to me (the rep was not a Best Buy or Geek Squad employee, BTW).
