Ok, so I call HP's tech support again and get the run around two more times. They tell me the problem is with my computer even though I can use all of the USB ports with other devices like my digital camera, my iPod, a Lexmark printer, and a flash drive. Finally, I get a tech support person who says she will escalate the problem to her supervisor, who will give me a call back. Guess what - no one ever called me back. So I then go to another PC we have in the house and try to install and use the printer on that one. Same problem - absolutely nothing happens when I connect to any of the USB ports. And, just like with the other computer, all my other USB devices work just fine. I call HP Tech Support yet again and am told that someone did contact me and told me that I needed to call my PC manufacturer. First, no one ever called me.
