To discharge any static, first touch the metal panel chassis, and then stay in contact with the chassis when touching the circuit board. We recommend using a grounding strap. Be careful not to damage the circuit board. Use 16-gauge, solid copper wire from an earth grounded cold water pipe clamp to the enclosure. For best results, we recommend that you crimp a spade lug on the wire end at the panel and secure the lug to the enclosure. You may place the system into programming mode only when you disarm all partitions. Default Installer code: 4321. Default Master code: 1234. Press 8, installer code, 00 (default 4321). The keypad should read ”SYSTEM PROGRAMMING”. Or before entering programming mode press 8, installer code, 02 to enroll the keypad as a programming keypad only. There are also shortcuts which work similar to programming locations, just type in the shortcut and it will jump you to that option, which is much easier than going up and down through the menus. The system will completely default and you will have to reprogramme it.http://hkcxfy.com/userfiles/1602168289.xml

interlogix concord 4 installation manual, interlogix concord 4 installation guide, interlogix concord 4 manual, interlogix concord 4 installation manual, interlogix concord 4 installation manual transfer switch, interlogix concord 4 installation manual instructions, interlogix concord 4 installation manuals, interlogix concord 4 installation manual transmission, interlogix concord 4 installation manual garage door opener, interlogix concord 4 installation manual installation, interlogix concord 4 installation manual user, interlogix concord 4 installation manual diagram, interlogix concord 4 installation manual.

The installer code will become 4321 and the master code will become 1234. This cannot be changed or removed in programming. Every sensor must be learnt in, wireless or hardwired. Usually the main boards 8 zones are already learnt in to zones 1-8, respectively. If you are adding a zone expander or wireless zones, every zone must be learnt in individually. It will now ask you to select a partition (1-6) and then a sensor group (zone type). If you are learning in multiple zones, I would recommend learning them all in as sensor group 13 (standard perimeter zone) then changing them individually in the edit sensors menu later. This can make testing easier, as sensor group 17 (standard motion sensor zone) will not show up as an open zone when the panel is disarmed. One beep indicates the zone has learnt in and the keypad should jump to the next available zone to learn. You can easily shoot yourself in the foot when learning wired sensors in, especially if you are working in a busy building. I would suggest tripping each zone at the head end or expander by shorting out the zone terminal with a resistor. This way there is less room for error, as people move around in front of motions, etc. Otherwise, you may end up with your zone 5 learnt in as zone 2 and a huge headache. Every sensor must be learnt in, wireless or hardwired. It will now ask you to select a partition (1-6) and then a sensor group (zone type). This can make testing easier, as sensor group 17 (standard motion sensor zone) will not show up as an open zone when the panel is disarmed. One beep indicates the zone has learnt in and the keypad should jump to the next available zone to learn. The snapcard expander (60-757) is an 8 zone expander that plugs into the main board on the right hand side. On the snapcard, only 6 zones are available to use for any sensor and the other 2 are dedicated as fire zones. The superbus 2000 expander (60-774) must be wired into the keybus and has 8 zones that can be used.http://www.qkon.ca/images/haynes-manual-vw-polo-6n2-pdf.xml

The zone expander itself does not represent a zone range like with other alarm panels. Select a spare zone you want to be the first zone on the expander. To make things easier, it is best to select a zone number with 7 spare zones following it. Select a partition and sensor group. Then use a resistor to short the first zone terminal on the zone expander. Select sensor text SHORTCUT 081 then scroll to select which zone you wish to program. Once selected, it will ask you for an item number from the word library. Each zone can have up to 16 items. An item is a word or a letter; letters are used if you wish to make your own word, not from the library. Here are some commonly used words: To gain access into the user menu, press 9, master code ( default is 1234 ). The panel should read ”TIME AND DATE”. Select a code to alter. Enter the new 4-digit code. The panel should read ”TIME AND DATE”. If you wish to delete the code, just enter the system master code again instead of a new code. The system will recognize the master code and delete the current code. To assign partitions you must be in user menu programming. From normal run mode: If this does not work, you have to default the panel. The system will completely default and you will have to reprogramme everything. The installer code will become 4321 and the master code will become 1234. If you use backup numbers, the panel will attempt to dial out 16 times alternating between the numbers. If you do not programme numbers 2 and 3, it will attempt to dial out 8 times on phone number 1 before generating a communication fail trouble. By default the comms are not setup; however, programme these few shortcuts to be sure it is disabled: To program HEX digits, just hold the number key down. The serial number will be on the box the GSM came in and also on the top of the GSM above the SIM card. Make sure it is registered with Alarm.com.

Once you have waited long enough, check the status LEDS on the GSM, you should have the red and yellow LEDs on solid.Be sure not to press anything at all other than listed above.A fault is indicated by the keypad emitting 5 short beeps every minute. There should also be a message on the keypad. The trouble will only silence for 10 hours and return if the fault is not fixed. It should charge up and clear the fault within 24 hours. If not, look at replacing the battery and remember to check the charging voltage coming out of the battery leads. This fault is for wireless zones. The most common cause is that the batteries are too low and need replacing. If it's a keyfob or other zone that shouldn't be sending a supervised signal by itself then it should be reprogrammed. A keyfob should be sensor group 1. View all Sensor Groups If the trouble still persists, you may need to replace the sensor. Typically the zone should be normally closed, all wired zones need a 2K Ohm resistor across the zone when it is closed and an open loop when the zone is open or activated. A sensor trouble can be caused by a short on the zone. Check your wiring and delete the zone and relearn it to be sure it is NC. Replace the batteries in the identified zone. The trouble may take a while to clear. Try opening and closing the zone then press 1, installer code. If the trouble is still there, power cycle the panel and test the zone again to make sure the fault does not come back. If it's a hardwired sensor, double check your wiring and resistor value (all wired zones need a 2K Ohm resistor across the zone). You should be able to take the wireless sensor to the keypad, hold the tamper shut with your hand and press 1, installer code. If the fault does not clear, it may be a faulty sensor. If you are not wiring in a phone line and don't want the trouble displayed then follow the instructions under the Comms section above.

If the receiver has not received a signal from any wireless device for 2 hours or something is jamming the signal, this fault will appear. Try and force a wireless zone to send a signal and see if the panel responds. Check the location of the panel, as the receiver is built in. Make sure the antennas have clear room and should have the plastic covers installed around them. If it increases then some device is pulling the voltage down. Add the device wires back in one at a time measuring to see which one is pulling it down. Once identified, check the wiring at the device as it could be a cable fault. Go into programming and check all bus device serial numbers learnt in and see which one is missing. If you were using a temporary keypad for programming and have removed it, you may have to go back into programming and delete the serial number. Shortcut 10000 D to delete. Remove each of your zones and bus devices one at a time until the ground fault clears. Once you have identified where the fault is coming from, you can trace the cable. A ground fault can also be caused by a high voltage spike on the telco line. This is caused when you disconnect your programming keypad without first exiting programming mode. This will also send a supervisory trouble signal to the monitoring station, if monitored. You cannot connect piezos or bells to this output. The output can drive a single 8 Ohm speaker or a multiple speaker circuit of 8 Ohms or higher. When connecting two or more speakers, wire them in series. Wiring speakers in parallel can permanently damage the panel. The default configuration for these outputs is not ideal for a siren so I would recommend changing it to one of the settings listed below. The instructions in this document are provided to help you quickly integrate the Interlogix Concord 4 and automation module into the ClareHome system. It is not intended to be a complete installation guide.

Notes To incorporate the Interlogix Concord 4 in your Clare Controls system, you must use the GE Interlogix ITI SuperBus 2000 RS-232 Automation Module. The module allows third-party integration with the Concord 4 security panel. Some Concord devices experience a CPU problem. See the full PDF. After reconnecting everything, I left it unplugged and unconfigured for over a year. Again things seem successful.I assume you’ve checked the obvious like running the server in debug mode, changing USB port you are connecting to and Python version compatibility but I imagine you’ve done all that. Finally I assume you’ve checked that comms between your automation module and the Raspberry Pi are functioning correctly. Is that a possibility? Not yet anyway You’ll need to ensure that it is correctly enrolled on your system. If you don’t have a copy of this manual I suggest you read through it to help configure your panel correctly Other programs can use the daemon to perform actions on the alarm. This project includes a command-line utility to allow for easyEventually, more complicatedThat being said, it does work well forYou should make sure that the power to the computer you run thisI copied the wiring exactly as it was previously on the working system. I also do have the manual. Thanks.

I didn’t have the Automation Module Protocol document. AND I was actually just now installing the pre-req’s for concordd when I saw your response. How funny! Yeah - I’ll try that out. Thank you for all this info! At least that concordd utility confirmed that. Thanks again. In our previous house, integrating that alarm system with our z-wave controller and it provided a cool automation ability. When I added HA I decided to hook up the alarm THERE instead of to the z-wave controller. We’ve got a ton of switches, lights, plugs, motion sensors etc already in the system. Getting that concord4 added will be the icing on our already delicious cake. Do I need to have my alarm code in my configuration? Do I need to have my alarm code in my configuration? I’ll check it when I get home. Did you miss your activation email ? All that’s required are a few inexpensive parts, a PC and the ability to upload a short Java program. The Master, Installer and Dealer 4-digit codes for the Concord 4 are stored as pairs of 2-digit hexadecimal integers at known consecutive addresses within a 24C256L EEPROM chip. This memory chip sits in a socket located on the alarm panel circuit board where shown (1rst image below). It’s easy to pull out the chip and then read the codes from it using an Arduino clone microcontroller board that runs a simple “sketch” (Java program) uploaded from a PC. Open the Arduino IDE on the computer and verify that it can see the attached UNO R3. I've included a photo of the hardware setup with the alarm chip seated and the computer connected (3rd image below). Software for reading the Concord 4 EEPROM You can find several online tutorials and videos that demonstrate how to interface the UNO R3 microcontroller to an I2C EEPROM chip. The running sketch will first print a header in the monitor window, following which you can repeatedly type and send decimal addresses to the UNO R3 to receive and view each EEPROM byte of interest.

Viewing the passcodes To illustrate, I show here the Serial Monitor output with the code addresses and values from my “dealer locked” Concord 4 EEPROM (4th image below). You should examine these same addresses in your own Concord 4 EEPROM chip to learn the passcodes to your system. Then unplug the UNO R3 from your PC, remove the chip and re-install it in the alarm panel. You’ll gain full access to system programming, including stored phone numbers, and you can of course reset all the passcodes as desired (see the Concord 4 Installation Manual for details). Now you’re in control! I figured I would share what mine was since it adds some simple ease of use to it if you only want it for recovering codes, but could combine what you used for hardware to make it smaller and cleaner looking. Coincidentally, a bit before my original post, Deron Grzetich detailed still a different technique for reading the EEPROM at the Malos Ojos Security Blog. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness. See All Buying Options Add to Wish List Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. You can still see all customer reviews for the product. Installer (ADT) changed mine to 6321. The alarm system will beep. Group 1 is unsupervised, therefore, group 1 does not poll and expect a response back from the keyfob or any other device assigned to that group. Again, this works with the GE Concord 4 system and probably will be very similar with other systems. If your installer changed your installer code (I understand most of them do) try: 4321 or 6321 or 1676 or 1626 or 9317. My searching the Internet came up with these codes, suggest you make sure you can enter programming mode BEFORE you buy a keyfob. This one works great and very good price.

Also works: 600-1021-95R, 600-1022-95R and the 600-1040. Hope this helps Therefore, it receives 3 stars. But I had to remove 2 stars because there is no manual or instructions on how to setup the FOB to your security system. So I had to search the internet on instructions to do that. Luckily, I found some. But if somebody else had a different system maybe they couldn't. I understand that there are many different security systems out there. Therefore, it would be difficult to put a lot of instructions in the box. Why not at least have a link to a website (setup by the company or youtube videos) where you could find instructions on setting up this FOB for at least the top 10 most popular systems? Vinnie T 4.0 out of 5 stars Wasn't in the best either as the symbols had worn off of the buttons long ago. Concerned the symbols will rub off on this one too. This fob is a replacement, and seems to work better than the original. The button operation is more precise and seems to work well. Was expecting possible resistance by the monitoring company as far as helping me sync this my system (Simon XT). By pushing the disarm button in the alarm, the fob would then go back online. No one at the monitoring company (talked to 3 different people) had ever heard of this problem, and I was close to having to call for a costly service call. Called a 4th time and got somebody who knew exactly what the problem was. Turns out that the programming steps I got weren't exactly right. It was put into the correct non-sensor group, and all seems know. Please try again later. My system was installed with two interlogic remotes but I have managed to lose one and have bought this one as a replacement. In reviewing the You Tube video. It takes me to a system programming sub menu option that is not in my system. Would someone who has gone through this process please post the detail install steps for the GE Simon XT or tell me how to get to the sub menu option. Thanks, Dan BowmanPlease try again later. Note: my alarm system is over 9 years old, and a 2G-based system. Brinks advised our system is outdated and as of June it will need a new card in order to work with today's 4G standard, but will upgrade it for us at no charge. The fobs should still work after that. If not, I will post an update. Please try again later. I had ADT program them (free) with my new panel. Buy buying them here they were SOOOOOOO much cheaper than getting it from ADT who wanted a ton of money for them and the installer didn't have a problem programing them for me even though I did not have these programed for my old alarm system. I personally only use 2 of the 4 buttons and ADT only programed two of them. I can program the others for the garage door. These have been working great and I have not had any issues with these. Please try again later. Please try again later. Wes C 5.0 out of 5 stars They are easy to program too.

After receiving you new key fob remote, call your alarm company tech support and they will walk you through programming it.
